Travel to University of Salford, MediaCityUK

Tram to MediaCityUK
Take the D line which runs every six minutes in both directions between Manchester Piccadilly and MediaCityUK. The journey time is approximately 15 minutes. You can plan your journey at Metrolink

Bus to MediaCityUK from Salford or Manchester

From Salford Crescent: Take the CityConnect50 outside the station. The service runs every five to fifteen minutes and the journey time is approximately 20 minutes. Alight at the Lowry stop and MediaCityUK is just over the bridge.

From Manchester: Take the X50 from Piccadilly Gardens. The service runs every fifteen minutes and the journey time is approximately 25 minutes. Alight at the Imperial War Museum stop on Trafford Wharf Road and walk across the footbridge over the Manchester Ship Canal.Travelling to Salford or Manchester

By Air
Manchester Airport is the closest airport to MediaCityUK (only xxx miles away) and operates direct flights nationally and internationally. You can take a tram from Manchester Airport to MediaCityUK. Take the F Line to Cornbrook and change to the E Line direct to MediaCityUK. The service runs every 12 minutes and the journey time is approximately 1 hour.

By Train
There are three mainline stations in Manchester city centre: Piccadilly, Oxford Road and Victoria. Manchester Piccadilly is the closest mainline station to MediaCityUK. Services to Manchester operate from across the UK, including London (2 hours), Edinburgh (3 hours 15 minutes), Birmingham (1 hour 30 minutes), Liverpool (45 minutes). By Car
For those who need to travel by car, MediaCityUK is only a two minute drive from the national motorway network (M602) and a ten minute drive from Manchester city centre.
